Thanks for the suggestions! If I understand you correctly, we can already do (1) within the app. If you enter a Course to Steer and then double tap on the tidal vector, a (+) button appears which allows you to enter a additional tide vectors. Useful for planning Channel crossings for example.
The running fix is a good idea and I will add that to our wish list.
