Thanks for your question, and there is certainly plenty going on behind the scenes! We continue to work on the Android version, though we don't have a release date as yet.

We are also working on some significant improvements to the user interface, and I hope to be able to make an announcement about that soon.

Do you have anything you would like to add to the Wishlist?

Thank you for the reply. Sounds interesting, looking forward to hearing more.

I like the ability of other plotters to project your heading and COG. I also like the ability to see at a glance the tidal height (with arrows up and down for ebb and flood) in the instruments for the closest port (would be great if this also included secondary ports...) instead of having to move around the chart to find it.

Hi Mike,

Many thanks for those suggestions. Currently we are re-writing the code base in order to make additions and changes easier to do in the future, but adding a heading projection should be easy to do.

I am not sure I understand your suggestion about the tides - can you expand a bit, or point me to a chart plotter which does this?

Hi Bill,

If you look at TZiBoat, the instrument panel has a widget for the closest tidal heights, displayed as a graph. So if I am sailing around the solent this changes from say Portsmouth to Chichester as I am sailing home. Very useful to see at a glance what the tidal height is and whether it is ebb or flood. Saves me the effort of having to look things up or look at Absolute Tides on my phone. Would send you a screen shot but does not work when I am at home..

Mike - an update on 2026. We are currently working on rebuilding the software with a better interface, but most importantly a more robust structure that will make it easier to add additional features like the ones you describe. This should be coming out in the summer.
